When did your family move to this place and why?

My family moved to Prince George BC in the 90’s. My mothers side of the family came as immigrants here due to dictatorship risks and human rights reasons, meanwhile my father came as a refugee due to civil war.

We spent the first 14 or 15 years of my life outside of the country going back home to Latin Americia before settling here and dispersing throughout BC.

How has this history affected your life and perspective?

There are many personal factors that affected my life beyond where my parents were from. We were poor and lived in the system of government supports.
